Temporary Works Design In A Rail environment
Network Rail projects are an area of expertise with the team having experience working on projects during the Birmingham New Street Station redevelopment and a number of schemes for Crossrail. The works at Birmingham New Street were particularly challenging with over 8,000 tonnes of concrete removed from a live station, which required significant temporary works design.
Temporary Works Design
Our specialist team can design temporary works for projects large and small. Particularly those that require plant platforms, propping, sequencing, specialist lifting gear and other support works. Lead Engineer Laurent Davense has more than two decades of experience on projects across the UK and Europe.
Moreland provides site support services to check temporary works, or for Engineering back up during projects upon request. A recent example of this would be the works over Christmas 16 working at Paddington Station with Beaver Bridges. Find out more about this project here.
Civil Engineering contractors use Moreland when they require competent, cost effective temporary works design within agreed timescales. Our commitment to quality and delivering high levels of service complement the Engineering expertise within the team.
